NEWTOWN, PA — The premier stationery and paper store, the Paper Source, has opened its doors at the Village at Newtown Shopping Center between Chopt and Ulta.

The store is the latest retail addition to the shopping center, joining FP Movement, Rally House, Head Over Heels Boutique, and Lululemon Pop Up. And coming soon: The Capital Grille.

The new store, which opened at the end of July, offers a curated blend of paper goods, gift wrapping, calendars, appointment books, crafts, party supplies, envelopes and more.

The store is the chain’s first in Bucks County. It has other nearby locations in Philadelphia, Ardmore and Paoli.

With a mission to inspire people to “Do Something Creative Every Day,” the store offers a creative aesthetic with a unique color palette and proprietary designs that are hand-illustrated by an in-house art and design team, as well as more than 1000 artists and makers around the world.

The store was founded in 1983 in Chicago as a paper goods store. Today it carries a curated selection of fine papers, gifts, crafts, party supplies, wrap, greeting cards and an exclusive collection of envelopes and cards.

Through an in-house design team and rich sourcing capabilities, the iconic brand offers an exclusive selection of fine papers, gifts, crafts, party supplies, gift wrap, greeting cards, and a proprietary assortment of envelopes and paper.

The store is built around heritage, curiosity and wonder. Founder Sue Lindstrom traveled the world and discovered countless artisanal treasures. She studied the craftsmanship and curated her own collection, bringing the treasures back to the community of artists and customers who visited her family-owned store. It was a natural pursuit that turned out to be something greater— a connected community of creators. This community fostered a lifestyle that brings out the creativity in everyone.

“Walk into any one of the Paper Source stores to see this heritage made modern. We hope we can be the happy place for your creative spirit,” reads the company’s website.

The store’s eye-catching logo incorporates a paper wasp, an insect that chews tree bark and uses it to build its beautiful, delicate nests. “Much like this creative creature, nature’s original paper maker, the Paper Source believes that paper can create extraordinary things.”

The Paper Source, which puts the environment first, focusing on sustainability and social responsibility while upholding a commitment to the exceptional, Paper Source operates more than 130 stores across the U.S., as well as a thriving eCommerce business and a robust wholesale network. Paper Source is owned by Elliott Investment Management L.P., which also owns Barnes & Noble, the leading bookseller in the U.S.
